Long time no post...

I've been busy getting The Paper Fox interactive book up and ready for launch. Now that it's getting close and I'm feeling a little more relaxed, I've started sketching again.

Here are a couple of quick sculpts I did while Skyping with various folks. I realise that Skype and digital doodling don't seem mutually beneficial, but it's rather the opposite. I find that I retain much more information when sketching, there's also science backing this up: Science!

Entega Interactive Guide

Just finished a project with DDB Tribal in Hamburg. A wonderful project that was a lot of fun to create. I created all the renders and they created the interactive magic.

Check it out here.

Computer Arts Magazine: Issue 200

I had the pleasure of writing an opinion piece for Computer Arts Magazine and I was lucky enough to appear in issue 200. The piece is all about  the concept of originality and what a harsh mistress she can be, using The Paper Fox project as an example.

Front-end hi-res fun

Here's some recent stuff from the game I'm working on with the funky cats over at Current Circus. These are hi-res meshes, rendered for front-end screens. The game has a sci-fi / steampunk vibe:

I'm back!

...well, I never really left - but have been a little preoccupied with a new little person in the house. His name is Megatron Underpants McTavish and he's 13 weeks old:

... my wife didn't approve of a name with "underpants" in it, so we opted for Griffin Alexander ;)

ChoW#217 : The Underground Tribe

My character for the underground tribe, the shaman. Didn't get this in to ChoW because I had some other stuff on my plate, but it's a good motivator.

WIP - Ogre Sculpt

A WIP sculpt for one of my best friends who will be making a mask based on this sculpt. Quickly slapped on some Polypaint in my lunch break to pop out some details.
